Jan is a Florida farm girl who loves to paint portraits of people, pets, plants, and places…and lots of other things that don’t start with the letter “P”.
She is a mother, a mother-in-law, a wife (happily married for 30 years), a friend and an enthusiastic autodidact in languages, gardening, aqua-culture, home improvement and pie baking.
Jan and her family have five dogs, two goats, two mini horses, twelve chickens and two charming pigs named Wilbur and Minnie.

I finally took a little time to cruise around in my Google Reader (I put all our Triage classmates in it) and decided to bop on over to your blog again. I see that you and I have even more in common than Sedona vortex experiences. I, too, had 12 Aracauna chickens (years ago), and my husband and I have been married 32 years. Other things in common, too. I have a million questions for you – maybe a Skype call sometime, unless e-mail works out. But whenever, no hurry.
